Stream Shows "Error" Status
Possible causes:
- The stream URL is incorrect or has changed
- The stream is temporarily offline
- Firewall is blocking the connection
- Authentication required but not configured
Solutions:
- Verify the stream URL works in a media player (VLC, etc.)
- Check if the stream requires authentication
- Contact support if the issue persists
Not Receiving Alerts
Possible causes:
- Alert is disabled
- Cooldown period hasn't elapsed
- Incorrect recipient address/number
- SMS/WhatsApp quota exhausted
Solutions:
- Check that the alert is enabled
- Verify the recipient address is correct
- Check your remaining quota on the Alerts page
- Use the Test button to verify delivery
Replacement Audio Not Playing
Possible causes:
- Replacement audio is not enabled on the stream
- No media file selected
- Media file is corrupted or unsupported format
Solutions:
- Edit the stream and ensure replacement audio is toggled on
- Check that a media file or playlist is selected
- Try uploading the audio file again in MP3 format
Webhook Not Working
Possible causes:
- URL is incorrect
- Receiving server is not responding
- SSL certificate issues (must use HTTPS)
Solutions:
- Use the Test button and check the response
- Verify the webhook URL is accessible
- For Slack/Discord, generate a new webhook URL from their settings
Audio Level Shows Very Low Values
The silence threshold may need adjustment. If your stream has naturally quiet passages:
- Lower the threshold (e.g., -60 dB instead of -50 dB)
- Increase the silence duration to avoid false positives
