Webmail lets you read, compose, and manage your email from any web browser without needing to install an email client. cPanel typically provides Roundcube as the default webmail application.

Please note: Screens and options may vary slightly depending on your cPanel version and hosting plan.

How to Access Webmail

There are several ways to access webmail:

Direct URL:

  • https://mail.yourdomain.com (if configured)

Via cPanel:

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Go to Email Accounts.
  3. Click Check Email next to the account you want to access.

Log in with your full email address (e.g. [email protected]) and your email password.

Using Roundcube

Roundcube provides a modern interface for managing your email:

  • Composing email — Click the Compose button (or press N) to write a new message.
  • Folders — Your mailbox includes Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Junk, and Trash by default. You can create custom folders to organise your mail.
  • Contacts — Roundcube has a built-in address book. Click Contacts in the top navigation to manage your contacts.
  • Search — Use the search bar above the message list to find specific emails.
  • Settings — Click the gear icon to configure your display preferences, create folders, set up identities (aliases), and configure message filters.

Creating an Email Signature

  1. In Roundcube, go to Settings > Identities.
  2. Click your email address.
  3. In the Signature box, enter your signature text. You can use HTML formatting.
  4. Click Save.

Tips

  • Webmail is ideal for checking email on shared or public computers — no settings are stored on the device.
  • For day-to-day use, an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird) typically provides a better experience with offline access, calendar integration, and faster performance.
  • Clear your browser's cache and cookies if you experience display issues with Roundcube.
